On Wednesday afternoon, the students experienced some aspects of British and English culture. They learned about some classic dishes and foods particular to Britain, and then made a loaf of healthy whole wheat bread with raisins by carefully measuring out the ingredients; wheat flour, yeast, brown sugar, and so on. After that, they learned about British wildlife, such as badgers and hedgehogs, before being taught some traditional customs during Christmas time. Finally, the students played some typical games played by groups of young friends and at English schools; Hide and Seek, Simon says, Where's Wally and I Spy. They seemed to enjoy Hide and Seek most of all, and continued to play it until after the class had finished!
